One unforgettable tournament ⛳ Relive the defining moments, remarkable performances, and inspiring stories from the inaugural BingoPlus Philippine ADT Open.

The 2026 BingoPlus Philippine ADT Open will bring an Asian Development Tour event to Luisita Golf and Country Club in Tarlac from June 17 to 20, creating another competitive opportunity for Filipino golfers to test themselves alongside international professionals.

DigiPlus Interactive Corp., through BingoPlus, is serving as the title partner of the inaugural tournament. The event forms part of a wider effort to connect domestic golf development with opportunities available through the regional professional circuit.

That connection begins before players reach the tournament itself. BingoPlus also supports the Philippine Sports Commission's “Fairway to the Future” grassroots initiative, which focuses on developing participation and opportunities at the local level. The Philippine ADT Open represents a different stage of that pathway, providing emerging and established Filipino golfers with exposure to an international professional field.

DigiPlus Chairman Eusebio H. Tanco described the company's involvement as part of its continuing support for Philippine sports. He emphasized the importance of creating competitive opportunities that allow Filipino athletes to develop their skills and gain experience beyond domestic events.

The Tarlac tournament is scheduled as the sixth stop of a 13-event Asian Development Tour calendar spanning seven countries during the season. Its inclusion places a Philippine event within the same regional circuit as tournaments staged in markets including Thailand, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia.

A Field of 132 Players

The tournament is expected to feature 132 competitors. The announced field consists of 82 Asian Development Tour professionals, 30 players from the National Golf Association of the Philippines, six members of the Philippine national team and 14 invited players.

The tournament carries a USD 100,000 prize purse. Beyond the prize money, the event also provides an additional competitive pathway for Filipino participants: the two highest-finishing Filipino golfers are set to receive places in the BingoPlus Philippine Open on The International Series later in the year.

This structure gives the event relevance beyond a single four-day tournament. Local and national-level players have an opportunity to compete in an international field, while strong performances can lead to another stage of professional competition.

Building on Previous Golf Events

DigiPlus' involvement follows its participation in other professional golf events in the Philippines, including the 2025 International Series Philippines.

That event also produced a notable result for Philippine golf when Filipino professional Miguel Tabuena won the title. His performance provided a recent example of a local golfer competing successfully in an international field hosted in the Philippines.

The 2026 Philippine ADT Open adds another level to that competitive landscape, with a field that combines ADT professionals, NGAP players, national team members and invited competitors.

Open Access for Golf Fans

Public access is also part of the tournament plan. DigiPlus has announced free admission to Luisita Golf and Country Club throughout the four-day event, allowing spectators and members of the surrounding community to watch the competition in person.

For Philippine golf, the event therefore combines several elements: an international tour stop, opportunities for domestic players, a route into a subsequent International Series event and public access to professional tournament play.

Rather than treating the Philippine ADT Open solely as a standalone competition, its place within the wider golf calendar provides a clearer view of its purpose — connecting local player development with progressively higher levels of competition.
