Every market in the tab is one of these — learn the six and you can read any sport.
Pick who wins. The favorite has shorter odds (smaller payout), the underdog longer. In basketball there is no draw; in football the "1X2" market adds the draw as a third option.
The favorite gives points, the underdog gets them. Your side must "cover" the line. Half-point lines cannot tie; whole-number lines that land exactly are refunded (a push).
Ignore who wins — bet whether the combined score lands over or under the posted number. Also offered per quarter, half or team.
Over or under a player's projected points, rebounds, assists, steals or blocks, whatever the final score. The market Filipino basketball fans back hardest.
Two or more selections on one ticket. Decimal odds multiply, so payouts grow fast — but every leg must win, and one loss loses the ticket. Treat it as entertainment, not a recovery plan.
Bet while the game runs; odds move with the score and the clock. Markets lock briefly after a basket, goal or timeout while prices reset. Decide your stake before tip-off rather than chasing a swing.

Decimal odds show the total return per peso staked: at 1.90, a ₱100 bet returns ₱190 (₱90 profit). The implied probability is 1 divided by the decimal odds — 1.90 implies about 52.6%. American odds of −110 mean stake ₱110 to win ₱100; +150 means win ₱150 on ₱100. The calculator on this page converts all three formats.
A handicap evens up a mismatch. If Ginebra is −5.5 against TNT, a bet on Ginebra wins only if they win by 6 or more; a bet on TNT +5.5 wins if TNT wins or loses by 5 or fewer. The half point prevents ties; a whole-number line that lands exactly is refunded (a push).
Player props are bets on an individual's statistics — points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks — above or below a projected total, regardless of who wins. During the PBA Season 50 Commissioner's Cup Finals, Justin Brownlee was the most-backed player on ArenaPlus with 22.11% of all player bets, and 81.98% of bets on him predicted he would finish above his projections.
A parlay (multiple or combo) puts two or more selections on one ticket. The decimal odds multiply, so three picks at 1.80, 1.90 and 2.00 pay 6.84 times the stake — but every leg must win, and one loss loses the whole ticket. Bigger payouts, lower probability.
In-play betting lets you bet while a match is running, with odds that move with the score and the clock. Markets briefly lock after key moments — a basket, a goal, a timeout — while odds are recalculated. Decide your stake before the game starts rather than chasing a swing.
